Synchronized swimmers from Korabelnyi District conquered the Ukrainian Championship in Kyiv
Our girls won gold, silver and bronze in several categories
From April 5 to 8 the Ukrainian Junior Synchronized Swimming Championship took place in Kyiv. The competition featured 80 athletes from 8 teams representing Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv and Khmelnytskyi oblasts, as well as two teams from the city of Kyiv.
The synchronized swimmers who train at KDYuSSh “Ukraine”, whose base is located at SC PB “Vodoliy” in the Korablevnyi District, and also at MO SHVSM, proudly represented Mykolaiv at these events. Mykolaiv athletes won a number of awards in various categories and once again confirmed the high level of the local synchronized swimming school.

In the technical team event Anna Arsentieva took 1st place as part of the Ukrainian national team. Another award for the region was claimed by the Mykolaiv Oblast team, which took 2nd place. Its members included Anna Kirova, Polina Guliaieva, Anna Dudnik, Yana Artemenko, Nadiya Shkvarun, Anna Titenko, Marianna Kostenko and Milana Berenshtam.
In the technical duet Anna Kirova and Anna Dudnik won 2nd place, confidently becoming national championship medalists.
In the acrobatic group event another “gold” went to Anna Arsentieva and Oleksandra Shumylova, who competed as part of the Ukrainian national team. In addition, the Mykolaiv national team Mykolaiv took 2nd place.
In the free routine the Mykolaiv Oblast team rose to the top of the podium and won 1st place. The winning team included Anna Kirova, Polina Guliaieva, Anna Arsentieva, Anna Dudnik, Yana Artemenko, Oleksandra Shumylova and Nadiya Shkvarun.
Another award in this discipline was won by the Mykolaiv Oblast-2 team, which took 3rd place. Its members were Kamila Levynska, Anna Krykunova, Olga Lehka, Kseniia Pikhtar, Dasha Koval and Kira Filippova.
The athletes were prepared by coaches Hanna Orel, Iryna Mironova and Olena Shumylova. Thanks to their work, the pupils of the school from the Korablevnyi District continue to maintain a high level and bring medals from national competitions to Mykolaiv.
