Head-on collision on the highway near Mykolaiv: four people were hospitalized
Dangerous road: a traffic accident with injuries has again occurred on the Dnipro–Mykolaiv highway
On the highway “Dnipro–Mykolaiv” near the village of Kalynivka of the Voskresenska community, a road traffic accident with casualties occurred. The accident happened on April 6, 2026 at about 17:50.
According to preliminary police data, a Mercedes-Benz ML 270 driven by a 47-year-old driver and a GAZ 322132 minibus driven by a 38-year-old man collided. As a result of the collision, three passengers of the minibus and the SUV driver were injured. All the injured were taken to hospital by medical teams.
Investigators have provisionally qualified the incident under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the accident, and investigators and forensic experts are working at the scene. Traffic on the road section is being regulated by patrol officers.
