Mykolaiv divers won gold, silver and bronze at the Ukrainian Cup
Representatives of the region won several awards in various disciplines
From March 31 to April 3, 2026, the Ukrainian Diving Cup was held in Kyiv – one of the main stages of selecting athletes for the Ukrainian national team to participate in the European Championships.
Representatives of 8 teams from 7 regions of Ukraine took part in the competitions – Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions, as well as two teams from the city of Kyiv. Participants competed to determine the best in 10 disciplines: individual dives from springboards and the platform, as well as synchronized dives from the 3-meter springboard and the platform.
Representatives of Mykolaiv region showed a high level of preparation at these events and won a number of medals, the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported.
Mykolaiv athletes were most successful on the 1-meter springboard, where Maksym Mirza became the winner, and Bohdan Chyzhovskyi won the silver medal.
The athletes from Mykolaiv won another gold in synchronized dives from the 3-meter springboard: the winners were Bohdan Chyzhovskyi and Maksym Mirza. In addition, in the individual 3-meter springboard event, Danylo Konovalov won silver, and Maksym Mirza took bronze.
Thus, based on the results of the Ukrainian Cup, representatives of Mykolaiv region added two gold, two silver and one bronze medal to the region’s collection.
