From April 1, 2026, an updated curfew and blackout regime has been introduced in the territory of the Mykolaiv region.

In accordance with the order of the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration Vitaly Kim dated March 30, 2026 No. 2, in most of the region (including the city of Mykolaiv itself), a curfew will be in effect from 00:00 to 05:00. During this period, a special blackout regime in the mode of complete blackout is also established.

At the same time, in the settlements of the Ochakiv urban territorial community, as well as the Kutsurub and Chornomor rural territorial communities, from April 1, 2026, a curfew and a special blackout regime in the mode of complete blackout are introduced from 22:00 to 06:00. These communities have been living in conditions of increased danger for a long time due to their proximity to the combat zone and regular Russian attacks. Back in 2023, a stricter regime was introduced for them than in other communities (from 22:00 to 06:00), and in 2024 this order was adjusted by a separate decision.

Such a division seems logical given the security situation: the Ochakiv region and adjacent communities systematically suffer from enemy strikes, so the authorities there leave stricter limits not only on movement, but also on light camouflage. This is a conclusion that follows from previous and current approaches to restrictions in these communities.

Residents of the region are urged to strictly adhere to the curfew rules and not ignore air raid sirens. Because the threat, especially for the region, which Russia continues to keep under constant pressure, does not disappear.
