In the Voskresenske community March 31 2026 they announced the farewell for Anastasia Shcherbyna, a student of 8th grade of Peresadivka Lyceum, who suffered severe injuries as a result of a Russian drone attack. This tragic event was reported by the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Voskresenske settlement council.

Anastasia is remembered in the community as a determined child who had many plans, dreams and an ordinary teenage life ahead of her, which was cut short by the Russian attack. On the day of the farewell, the community declared a period of mourning.

Recall, on the evening of March 28 2026 fragments of an enemy Shahed drone fell on the grounds of a public recreation area in the village of Peresadivka. At that time 10 people were wounded: two women aged 40 and 18, and children — five girls and three boys aged from 10 to 16.

All the injured were hospitalized. As of the morning of March 29, a 40-year-old woman and two girls aged 13 and 15 were in serious condition, while six other children were in moderate condition. It later became known that the medics were unable to save the life of 13-year-old Anastasia Shcherbyna.

As of March 30, one child and one woman who were injured during this attack had already been discharged from the hospital. Medical staff assessed the condition of the rest of the wounded as stable.

The strike on Peresadivka, as a result of which a child was killed and nine more people were wounded, was further proof that Russia continues to strike at the peaceful residents of Mykolaiv region, regardless of age or civilian status of its victims.
