Mykolaiv is liquidating the municipal enterprise "Capital Construction of the City of Mykolaiv" due to mobilization and debts
The city is switching to new technical oversight standards; the closure of the enterprise and the settlement of its obligations will be carried out by a special commission of the city council
During a city council session in Mykolaiv, deputies adopted a decision to liquidate the municipal enterprise “Capital Construction of the City of Mykolaiv”, citing accumulated debts and the fact that the last employee of the enterprise has been mobilized.
At the housing and communal services committee meeting, Deputy Head of the Municipal Property Department Tetyana Dymitrova reported that out of a staffing level of 6 people only 1 employee remains — the director, who is currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The chief accountant resigned back in 2025, and the enterprise’s operational activities have been halted.
The institution’s financial condition is also critical: as of 1 January 2026 the debt to the tax authority amounts to 475 thousand hryvnias, for compensations for unused vacations — 43 thousand, for wages — 29 thousand. The balance sheet records assets of approximately 58 thousand hryvnias.
Explaining the reasons for winding down operations, Tetyana Dymitrova noted that the enterprise lost its sources of revenue, and the last contracts ended earlier.
Because there is no money to maintain this enterprise. They are not earning. The last contracts ended in 2025. They themselves adopted a decision to cease the enterprise’s activities,
During the plenary session, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych added that the enterprise no longer performs its technical supervision functions, since the city is switching to new standards for organizing such work.
Following the vote, deputies supported the liquidation of the municipal enterprise and created a special commission tasked with completing the closure procedure and settling the debts.
