Seven fires in a day in Mykolaiv region: a house, a car, dry vegetation burned..
One of the incidents occurred as a result of enemy shelling
During 27 March 2026, seven fires were recorded in the Mykolaiv region. This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (DSNS) in Mykolaiv Oblast.
One of the incidents occurred as a result of enemy shelling – a pine needle litter caught fire. Rescuers extinguished this fire over an area of 50 sq m.
In the evening firefighters received a report of the roof of a residential house catching fire in the Inhulskyi district of Mykolaiv. During extinguishing, rescuers dismantled structural elements of the roof and quickly localized and extinguished the fire. Its area amounted to 80 sq m. Thanks to prompt actions, they managed to prevent the dwelling from being destroyed by the fire.
Another call concerned a fire in a VAZ 2106 car in Mykolaiv. The fire was extinguished over an area of 3 sq m. The fire destroyed equipment in the engine compartment and the windshield.
In addition, rescuers extinguished four more fires. These involved a trash fire in a plastic container and three cases of dry grass burning in open areas.
In total, 35 rescuers and 10 units of equipment from the DSNS were involved in extinguishing all the fires. Municipal services, medics and the police also worked at the scenes. Additionally, firefighters of the local fire protection “Hur’yivka” were involved.
