Passersby in Mykolaiv "pulled" a young man away from the TCC - the authority urges citizens not to obstruct their lawful activities

In Mykolaiv 23 March 2026, during a routine check of military registration documents, an incident occurred involving representatives of the TCC and passersby. According to the Mykolaiv Regional TCC and SP, servicemen approached two conscription-age citizens.

One of the men provided the necessary documents without comment and, after the check, continued on his way. The other tried to avoid control and began to flee. In accordance with the requirements of Part 6 of Article 22 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization”, the representatives of the notification group tried to stop him to establish his identity and check his status. At that moment passersby intervened in the situation and began to obstruct the actions of the servicemen. As a result, the man took advantage of the moment and left the scene.

The TCC emphasized that the citizen was not detained and was not taken to any institutions. His identity has not yet been established. The agency also commented on the video circulating online. According to them, the recording shows that the serviceman is trying to explain to people the legality of the requirement to provide documents, in particular by the example of another man who passed the check without problems.

The TCC urged citizens to comply with the legislation of Ukraine and not to obstruct the lawful activities of servicemen.
