According to her, the servicemen noticed a man running with a knife in his hands. They tried to stop him and found that a little earlier another mobilization group had already attempted to check the same man, but he began to run and ran into the second alert group.

“Our guys just wanted to disarm him and then find out what the situation was. And it turned out that a little earlier a mobilization alert group had also stopped him to check his military registration documents — he started to run. He started to run and ran into the second alert group,” — said Nataliya Advent.

After that the man was detained and the knife was taken away, however already in the service vehicle he produced another knife and inflicted wounds on a serviceman and a police officer. According to the police, the attacker was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and the weapon was seized.
