The young players of "Olimp" from the Korabelnyi district won the silver medal at the Kherson-Mykolaiv futsal tournament
Three wins and only one setback
March 11 2026 in Mykolaiv the Kherson open futsal championship among boys and girls born in 2012-2014, dedicated to the memory of Volodymyr Hryhorovych Rohovskyi, took place. Teams from Kherson, the region and Mykolaiv participated in the competition.
As a result of the tournament, the pupils of KDYuSSh “Olimp”, located in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv, finished in second place. The team played four matches, in which they won three and suffered only one defeat, which secured them the silver medal.
The team was prepared for the competition by coach Oleh Pozniak. For the Korabelnyi district, this is another confirmation that local young athletes are able to challenge strong opponents and consistently bring home awards from interregional tournaments.
