Kim explained why the roads in frontline villages will not be covered with anti-drone nets
It's impossible to completely close the roadway, but the key logistical routes in the Mykolaiv region are already covered by anti-drone nets
During the broadcast of «United News» the head of the Mykolaiv OVA, Vitaliy Kim, reported that logistical routes in the frontline districts of the region, including near the occupied Kinburn Spit, are equipped with anti-drone nets, but it is impossible to cover roads inside villages with such structures.
The official clarified that it is the village roads that remain open to FPV drone attacks, which is why the enemy periodically strikes civilian facilities in settlements.
According to him, the nets are installed on sections that provide logistics and vehicle movement in frontline zones, including directions near the occupied Kinburn Spit, where the risks of enemy strikes are particularly high.
Outlining the boundaries of possible protection, the head of the region noted that it is technically impossible to cover the street network inside settlements.
“-The roads in villages — they are not covered by nets, it is impossible to do. And attacks still periodically occur there, – Kim said.”
